Endoscopy Technician

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the Endoscopy unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. As an Endoscopy Technician, you would be caring for the Endoscopy patient population by assisting during endoscopy procedures, scrubbing into procedures, handling equipment, transporting specimens and equipment, room turnover between procedures, transporting pts from pre/post op areas, and assisting the nursing team with additional tasks. Handle equipment and transport specimens and supplies. Assist with room turnover between procedures and transport patients from pre/post op areas. Support the nursing team with additional tasks related to patient care and procedure preparation. Position Details Position: Endoscopy Technician Shift: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, Day Shift (start times vary between 7am, 9am, and 11am) On-Call Requirements: Within 30 minutes of Lankenau Medical Center; on-call may vary but averages 3-4 weekends per year Qualifications Experience: One year of Endoscopy or Procedural Tech experience is required. Education: High school diploma/GED required. Licensures/Certifications: BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire; required within timeframe specified in CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy Employee Status & Schedule Employee Status: Regular Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $22.49 - $34.85 Job Grade: 207 Position-Specific Benefits: Up to 120 hours of paid time off per year; employee discounts; free employee parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
