This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:Schedule: 4-day workweek - Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shiftsShift: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pmOvertime: As needed, additional hours are available on FridaysWork Environment: Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroomPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assemble basic parts to one another by tightening nuts, bolts, screws, by riveting or spot welding parts togetherRead parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to assemble productsOperate the computer to enter work orders and print labelsInspect parts and products for quality standardsComplete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etcFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulationsMaintain departmental housekeeping standards  QUALIFICATIONS:Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years related experienceStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. . Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Exposure to Electro Magnetic Fields.
