Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals are seeking highly motivated candidates for full-time permanent positions as Skilled Welder in Cache Valley, UT.


You will be responsible for using welding skills and techniques to work on projects and parts to meet production schedules and customer expectations. You will also use your knowledge to create dedicated workflow for project completion and quality expectations and continue to learn welding techniques and skills.


*Wage: $22-$30/hour!


*Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties for Skilled Welders:

• Interpret blueprints and drawings for welding production
• Efficient in welding skills such as TIG processes and advanced weld processes such as CJP and exotic materials
• Cross train on equipment in the shop
• Assure products meet customer expectation and quality standards
• Minimize scrap rate
• Follow all safety rules and procedures and ensure direct reports remain in compliance
• Responsible for corrective/preventative actions in response to daily safety, product quality and product delivery issues
• Use advanced welding skills to meet daily quotas

Qualifications and Skills for Welders:

• Must be weld certified or 2+years of field experience
• Basic ability to read prints and interpret action items
• Ability to stay on task and meet quotas
• Communication and ability to ask questions
• Strong commitment to safety
• Have a professional attitude
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and skills
• Carry weight, lift, move, transport, position, install, remove, and frequently move products weighing up to 100 pounds for various needs
• Ability to work Exposed - Position periodically works in outdoor weather conditions.
