Position Overview The Sleep DSP will sleep overnight at the assigned location (average of seven hours per night) while being responsive to residents’ needs. During awake hours, the Sleep DSP will assist individuals with daily activities, health and personal management, personal goals, and daily household living, and maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment. Location: South Rd IRA, Germantown, NY. Salary: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (commensurate with education and experience). Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily activities and personal management during awake hours. Support individuals in achieving personal goals and daily household living. Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets physical, emotional, and personal needs. Respond to residents’ needs overnight and during the day. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred. One year of experience preferred; consideration given to candidates in a GED program. Valid NY driver’s license. Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and sense of humor. Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
