Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Thursday & Friday: Off

This position is based at a hospital in Waukesha, Wisconsin and requires availability to work the schedule listed above, including weekends. Applicants must be able to reliably report to work on time and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

PURPOSE:

To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
• Follow all company policies and procedures

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
• Be able to work past the scheduled shift, as transportation issues may arise
• Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cross-train in other positions per facility needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to stand on your feet up to 12 hours a day.
• Be able to push/pull soiled and clean linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
• Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, reaching, and pulling.
• Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics.
