Summary: The Grand Format Operator I is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, and safe operation of all relevant equipment to produce quality finished products that meet customer specifications and are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Schedule: 2nd shift and 3rd shift. Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be, 2:00 PM- 10:00 PM, 10:00PM - 6:00AM or similar. Training may occur at other times.

Salary Range: $16.00 To 19.00 Hourly

Compensation commensurate with experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Access Batching System to view schedule and identify priority jobs to be completed
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on large format printers to ensure optimal performance and reduce the risk of mechanical issues.
• Identify and help resolve equipment or production issues by assisting with basic troubleshooting, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent output quality.
• Review job orders to determine print specifications such as quantity, stock type, ink colors, and special instructions, ensuring all production parameters are followed accurately.
• Complete and maintain required documentation, including production logs, maintenance records, quality checklists, and job order forms in accordance with operational procedures.
• Actively remove waste items for recycling
• Complete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. 
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s) 
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in cultivating an interdependent safety culture by reporting workplace hazards, related injuries, illnesses and or/near misses to management immediately
• Attend all department/company meetings
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred
• One to two years related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training
• Experience in a wide or large format production environment
