Job Description

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient requirements and create therapy strategies designed to help them achieve their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Rely on proven methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily routines.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work together with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage sustainable progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment techniques as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on track towards their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
