The Director of Respiratory and Sleep Services is accountable for oversight of both the Respiratory Care and Sleep Clinic services provided by Graham Health System. This leadership role includes but is not limited to the supervision and coordination of the department and day-to-day operations of the department and equipment, as well as policies, and procedures to ensure consistency with current evidenced based guidelines. In addition, the Director will create and maintain the budget, measure quality, and implement performance improvement strategies.

The Director also provides input to strategic decisions that affect the areas of responsibility and will resolve escalated issues that arise from operation of the departments. Reports to the SVP of Hospital Operations & CFO.

Position Qualifications

Completion of an approved respiratory program. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

Five years of hospital-based respiratory services preferred.

Sleep experience preferred.

Previous experience in leadership preferred.

Current IL licensure as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.

BLS certification through AHA required.

ACLS, NRP/NRP instructor preferred

RRT-SDS or RRT and RSPGT preferred

The pay grade assigned to this position is 8000 ; the salary range for this position is $75,000-$110,000, dependent on experience. Compensation InformationAll wages are determined by experience and skills; wage information will be discussed further upon interview selection.
