Opportunity for compensation rewards through our 5‑star program: $22,000 - $23,000 annually. Psychologist: $137,000 - $140,080 (based on experience). Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor will be a versatile, self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional who is able to assist with managing a strong clinical team under the supervision/oversight of the Clinical Director. The Clinical Supervisor is involved with clinical operational oversight and supervision to assigned clinical service staff that may include fully licensed therapists and therapist‑interns. The position ensures adherence to the mission, vision and values of the organization as well as the Family Care Center clinical service policies and procedures. The supervisor assists with managing and ensuring service quality and clinical documentation compliance while working closely with the Clinical Director and team members to achieve the organization’s clinical and fiscal division goals and service outcomes. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for quality assurance in clinical care and documentation. Recommend changes to improve service delivery and implement changes and new programming. Serve on agency committees, work groups, and other bodies. Adhere to all current federal & state laws, as well as Family Care Center’s Policies and Procedures, including safeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with HIPAA. Provide new hire instruction for students in the assigned professional discipline as opportunities permit. Intake and patients will account for 20 admin hours a week. Provide clinical supervision for assigned clinical personnel and other support staff. Supervision needs will be evaluated based on clinical experience and performance and may be weekly but not less than bi‑weekly. Participate in leading clinical team meetings to ensure clinical service goals are met and program and organizational developments are communicated, understood and implemented. Ensure weekly review and management of caseload and productivity. Ensure clinical services are scheduled by providers in the electronic records system and are delivered to clients weekly. Monitor compliance with treatment services. Review “no show” and “cancellation” concerns and how to mitigate barriers to successful treatment with each provider. Share responsibility of closely monitoring the referral list, including scheduling and assigning new cases in a timely manner to clinical staff based on staff caseload and productivity. Set expectations for all providers regarding meeting performance requirements and achieving goals. Provide guidance/supervision to group and individual providers achieving below‑average treatment outcomes and consult with Clinical Director regarding disciplinary action that may be warranted due to underperformance. Partake in monthly peer review and other quality improvement activities while working closely with Clinical Director to ensure clinically sound documentation. Review, reject and approve clinical documentation for assigned clinical staff on a daily basis, and provide feedback to providers. Report all adverse incidents to the Clinical Director immediately. Consult with Clinical Director on any incident that requires external reporting. Peer supervision reviews completed twice a month. Review assessments & staff’s diagnoses along with appropriate recommendation for treatment services with Clinical Director. Monitor treatment plan service delivery compliance – ensure providers deliver services in type and quantity consistent with the treatment plan and minimize over- and under‑utilization of services. Manage productivity in conjunction with Clinical Director. Address complaints made about provider(s) or services by payers and/or consumers. Report complaints per policy to the Clinical Director and Quality and Compliance Director. Ensure clinical documentation meets internal divisional and external payer requirements. Conduct documented supervision with assigned clinical staff and provide ongoing feedback to each provider concerning quality of clinical services and work performance. Involved with onboarding curriculum/training with new staff. Consult with Family Care Center training manager to ensure standardized practices as needed. Monitor HIPAA compliance and report breaches in accordance with corporate policy. Assist with completing intakes, diagnostic evaluations, CANS Assessments and CANS 2.0 as needed. Establish relationships and communicate with clients, caseworkers/probation officers, family members, and staff. Maintain professional licensure as a behavioral health provider in good standing based on licensing requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Manage staff performance and evaluations including supervising, coaching, and disciplinary action. Required Skills/Abilities Clinical expertise in crisis intervention, skills in working with the chronically mentally ill population, and with individuals and families undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress; skills in diagnosis and assessment. Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and to represent the company in the community. Ability to lead a staff of professionals and paraprofessionals. Familiarity with community support systems, healthcare and human service resources, court, and police activities. Good organizational skills and administrative abilities. Flexibility in days and hours available for work, including weekends. Ability to adhere to the professional code of ethics. Knowledge of and ability to comply with the State Mental Health Code. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise the service staff of the assigned program, evaluate employee performance, and make recommendations for employment actions to the Clinical Program Director. Direct the daily operations of assigned unit(s) and schedule meetings, services, and workers’ time. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a mental health discipline required; Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) preferred. At least 3–5 years of professional experience doing therapy. At least three years of professional experience in clinical supervision.
