Who we’re looking for:

• Accounting degree
• Pursuing a CPA
• 2-3 years of public accounting experience
• Technical knowledge and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A working knowledge of firm products and services

What’s the job?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages one or more client engagements simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each assignment
• Prepares time budgets
• Consults with the supervisor, manager, and/or partner on a course of action when unusual circumstances arise
• Drafts client reports with supervision
• Develops deeper knowledge and skills in technical field
• Builds strong working relationships with client management and peer client levels
• Performs engagement field work procedures
• Advises and coaches staff accountants on work to be performed and sets an example by demonstrating high energy levels and enthusiasm
• Works as an effective team member to complete project components and engagement tasks
• Performs a detailed review of the staff accountant’s work to ensure quality thoroughness, documentation, and completion of engagement tasks within agreed timeframes
• Builds strong team relationship skills
• Actively pursues self-development
