Job Purpose

The ideal Account Manager candidate will be responsible for driving and growing revenue for CPS America. Working to identify new customers as well as nurturing and growing existing accounts. Developing strong relationships with customers through persistent follow-up and strong customer service. Meet sales quotas and goals, monitor account performance and adjusting your strategy accordingly.

Duties and responsibilities

• Managing salesforce, staying up to date and organized
• Working alongside COPS to ensure smooth and efficient process for customers
• Generate and drive revenue for CPS America
• Create long lasting and impactful relationships with customers
• Focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Manage accounts of all sizes, representing CPS America and its values
• Manage day to day client communication addressing the various needs of our customers
• Travel to visit customers, driving strong relationships between them and CPS
• Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of solar related sales and/or engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related fields
• Solar or related equivalent experience
• Previous xhyhwjd experience in driving external sales
• Experience in carrying a quota and generating revenue
• Great time management skills and ability to generate a productive schedule
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Hunter versus farmer mentality
• Persistent in the follow up
• Ambitious and results driven
• Candidate must be located in or near the Chicago area

Working Environment

• Remote - 25-50% travel expected to regularly visit customers and attend tradeshows
