As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations and respond to alarm-related activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
