Maintenance Associate 1st Shift

Maintenance Technician in Gallatin, TN Pay Rate: Minimum $34.00/hour Schedule: 5 days per week | 8-hour shifts Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to partner with Maintenance and Production leadership to ensure the reliability and performance of plant equipment. This role performs a mix of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance to support safe, efficient production operations. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging equipment, production equipment, electrical control systems, and related plant systems Operate, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment (mechanical and electrical) Troubleshoot and repair three-phase electrical components and control voltage issues Perform stick or TIG welding for small equipment repairs to minimize downtime until permanent repairs are completed Lead maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds Fabricate or modify equipment support components and perform millwright activities Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia systems, boilers, and wastewater systems Prepare unscheduled work orders to support production requirementsUtilize SAP and other Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for data entry and documentation Record and document procedural changes, ensuring equipment documentation is current and accurate Qualifications Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience working with three-phase power, controls, and industrial equipment Welding experience (stick and/or TIG) Ability to work independently and collaboratively with maintenance and production teams Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP preferred) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay starting at $34.00/hour Stable, full‑time schedule Opportunity to work in a technically diverse, hands‑on manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Manpower Group (USA)
