Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment requiring 1+ years of experience in ER and critical care settings.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of an acute care hospital
• Serves patients of all ages
• Night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend coverage every other weekend or as needed
• Call requirements as needed
• Floating requirements as needed
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience in ER and critical care settings required
• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting
• Comfortable serving as the sole RT on shift
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

• Works within a facility offering a wide range of surgical services including robotic, spine, orthopaedic, vascular, thoracic, cardiology, and trauma/emergency services
• Reports to the Director of Respiratory Therapy
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
