Position: Electrophysiology Medical Assistant (MA-C)

Location: Seattle, WA

Shift: Day, 5x8 Hour (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM), Monday - Friday

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Electrophysiology Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our team. This position is focused on providing high-quality care within a cardiology clinic, specifically in the electrophysiology department. The candidate must be willing to transition to a permanent role upon completion of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks including chart preparation and in-basket assistance.
• Manage patient follow-up calls and prescription refills.
• Assist with EKG and heart monitor placements.
• Provide support to clinicians and ensure efficient clinic workflows.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and obtain vital signs.
• Travel may be required to satellite clinics in the nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Only local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant; experience in a cardiology setting is preferred.
• Must hold a valid Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C).
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation is necessary as public transport is not sufficient for this role.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring commitment to a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts. Candidates should be flexible to meet the needs of the clinic, including the possibility of traveling to nearby locations.
