Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews

• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms and ensuring proper patient positioning while passing surgical instruments
• Deliver excellent pre- and post-operative care that includes wound management, medication administration, and patient education during discharge preparation

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
