Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator.Work location: CenterWell Winter GardenThe Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as:Document patient symptoms in EMRTake and record vital signsAdminister injectionsPerform diagnostic testsCollect specimens and draw bloodSterilize equipmentMaintain examination roomsOther tasks as assignedUse your skills to make an impactRequired:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderPhlebotomy experienceMedication/vaccine administration experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
