RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse

The RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders, supported through a Shared Governance Model. The framework for practice is guided by a Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing, and evidence-based practice and research. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act. As a member of the patient services team, the individual is expected to uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence goals.
