Details Hospital-based Pediatric ICU setting Cares for pediatric patients up to age 25, including epilepsy monitoring Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm-7:30am Uses EKG and inotrope therapies Must work at least every other holiday Requirements Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross) NIHSS certification preferred 18 months of recent permanent experience in PICU required prior to travel assignments 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience accepted) One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted) COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Additional Information Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients including epilepsy monitoring and inotrope management ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required (maximum 2 attempts) Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date Travelers may only work one assignment at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System RTO must be discussed during the interview process American Traveler Job ID P-740055.
