Job Description
Title
Critical Care Float Pool RN - Critical Care

Schedule
- Shift: 3 x 12s, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Weekend requirement: 2 out of every 4 weekends (minimum every-other-weekend)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Travel experience required
- Valid RN license (compact or state) in hand at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Charting proficiency with EPIC required
- Core skills: IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, experience with vasoactive/heart drips and titration, central/arterial line management, hemodynamic monitoring, ABG interpretation, 12-lead EKG interpretation, dysrhythmia management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in multiple ICU settings.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans; communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care and progress.
- Demonstrate proficiency in critical care procedures and utilize advanced technologies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours required
- Fingerprinting is mandatory; candidates must complete ASAP after contract signing
- Compliance deadline: strict deadline of Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
- RTO (return-to-office/required time off) must be included with submission and in contract
- Two professional references required, at least one must be a manager or director
