PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) or 4x10 hours as needed.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will work within a hospital-based ambulatory clinic, providing high-quality rehabilitation services. The role involves supporting patients with various conditions, including orthopedic, geriatric, cardiopulmonary, neurological, lymphedema, and pelvic health issues. Candidates are expected to deliver effective therapy interventions that promote patient recovery and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions tailored to patient needs and diagnoses.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
• Maintain thorough documentation and charting using Cerner system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a physical therapist.
• Active Arizona physical therapy license or a Compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with therapy for cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, orthopedics, and neurological conditions is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, and Wound Care are a plus.
