Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic Specialist Location New Hampshire Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday Job Description As a Physical Therapist at Choice Physical Therapy, you will benefit from an extensive range of specialized services and unique programs. We emphasize individualized treatments with a focus on manual therapy techniques. Our team is skilled in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, and a variety of modalities designed to enhance recovery and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patient recovery following orthopedic surgeries, including hip, knee, shoulder, and spine. Utilize techniques such as dry needling and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization to reduce pain and improve function. Develop individualized treatment plans based on biomechanical evaluations and patient needs. Implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve movement and function. Participate in community fall prevention programs aimed at enhancing balance and strength, particularly for the elderly. Collaborate with surgeons and physicians to ensure coordinated and effective care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience in an outpatient setting (required). Orthopedic experience is mandatory; inpatient experience is highly preferred. Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required). Current Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire (activation prior to submission is necessary). Submission of a physical therapy skills checklist and a supervisory signed reference from the past year is required. Permanent address must be included in the submission file; candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility.
