Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform general radiography procedures as needed
- Perform fluoroscopy procedures as applicable
- Administer contrast materials via venipuncture when required
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Registration: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in California)
- Experience performing a variety of imaging modalities including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
