Travel CVICU RN - Evanston, IL

Schedule:

• 12-hour Day Shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• No on-call obligation
• May float to nearby units as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' recent CVICU experience
• Active Illinois RN license
• Current BLS (CPR), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Strong skills in interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-organ failure, post-cardiac surgery care (excluding direct from OR), CABG, Impella, IABP, valve repairs, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, management of IV therapies, and invasive monitoring devices
• EKG test with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience, ECMO, Impella, and advanced device management experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage critically ill cardiac patients, including those with advanced interventions/devices
• Interpret and respond to complex cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary care team
• Float to other ICUs (MICU, neighboring campuses) if needed
