Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Night Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed ICU with all private rooms at a 1:1–2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage critically ill patients including post-open heart surgery, general surgery, STEMIs, strokes, and patients on ventilators, chest tubes, art lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, CRRT, and Impella devices
• Administer and monitor vasoactive and critical care drips including dopamine, levophed, epinephrine, nitroglycerin, and others
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently on night shift using Philips monitoring systems
• Mix medications on night shift as needed when off-site pharmacy coverage is in effect after 10:00 PM
• Float as needed to telemetry (1:4 ratio) or medical-surgical units (1:5 ratio)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Hands-on experience with chest tubes, arterial lines, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Willingness to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation with permanent staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with CRRT, Impella devices, and balloon pumps
• Familiarity with Philips telemetry monitoring systems
