Associate Director, US Launch Excellence

Merck seeks an Associate Director to lead integrated launch planning and readiness for US immunology and IBD pipeline products. This strategic role partners with cross-functional teams to translate commercial strategy into coordinated action, manage launch readiness, and advance launch excellence capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated launch planning and readiness with clear outcomes, milestones, dependencies and ownership
- Orchestrate readiness across functional workstreams while maintaining visibility of critical path and gaps
- Identify and mitigate launch-critical risks, assumptions and interdependencies through early facilitation
- Design and facilitate launch team meetings and readiness forums to drive alignment, decisions and accountability
- Capture launch learnings and strengthen future Immunology and US launches through reusable practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Biotechnology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences consulting, marketing, strategy, or launch work
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into executable plans and lead complex cross-functional initiatives
- Strong program and project management with multiple priorities, milestones, risks, and interdependencies
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build commitment across organizational levels
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills for senior stakeholders
