Medical Records Technician (Office Automation)

Duties
Help
Perform a variety of administrative functions associated with health information including reviewing for completeness and consistency.
Maintain medical records ensuring all necessary forms and documents are present, accurate, and complete in accordance with various current regulatory requirements.
Analyze medical records in order to select and compile only necessary and pertinent information.
Perform duties related to the receipt and electronic scanning of health and administrative documents.
Process request for information while ensuring strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, and any/all legal guidelines
