We are leading minimally invasive procedures across the U.S. by providing interventional radiology services in an outpatient setting. Monday-Friday, Day Shift | No call, no weekends, no holidays Learn more about IR Centers here: Job Type: Full-time Location: Town & Country, MO 63141 Qualifications High school diploma Valid BLS Certification At least 1 year of hands-on in a sterile procedural environment in the last 5 years. Must have scrubbed cases ARRT Certification (Preferred) Responsibilities Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures Reviews patient orders to determine necessary materials and sets up/cleans procedure rooms Assists with patient prep, transfers, and positioning Inputs patient data into the C-Arm and assists physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique Complies with HIPAA, draws up and labels IV medications, and processes/archives x-ray images Manages equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and hazardous waste disposal May serve as Radiation Safety Officer and assist with accreditation surveys Ensures effective communication with physicians Assists with patient billing, verifying procedure charges, CPT, and ICD9 codes Skills Proficient in maintaining a sterile field Experienced in scrubbing in for surgical procedures Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations Working knowledge of interventional equipment Working conditions Employees may be exposed to infectious diseases. Must lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and assist in patient transfers up to 400 pounds. Standing in a protective apron for 60-90 minutes is required.
