Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Description: We are seeking qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide direct patient care within correctional healthcare settings. The LVN will work under the supervision of healthcare leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compliant nursing services. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 24 months of continuous experience within the last 3 years in direct patient care (hospital, clinic, or similar setting) Active and valid California LVN license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) Key Responsibilities Provide and maintain healthcare services in accordance with facility policies and procedures Deliver basic nursing care, including hygiene support and medication administration Monitor patient conditions and report updates to RN or Primary Care Provider (PCP) Assist with treatments, therapeutic procedures, and disease prevention activities Educate patients and document care accurately in approved formats Collect specimens for diagnostic testing as ordered Assist in clinic activities such as physical exams, minor procedures, and patient evaluations Support mental health teams by observing and reporting patient behavior Maintain medical equipment and ensure cleanliness standards Participate in patient care planning and daily living assistance programs Ensure accurate documentation to support continuity of care Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $48 - $50 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
