Business Development Manager
Required Skills & Experience: Experience selling to or working at a Tier 2 or Tier 3 ISP
- Knowledge of BEAD and how to capitalize on it
- Background selling fiber deals and FTTH
- Proven track record of success, exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
- Comfortable with 25% travel
Job Description: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and driving revenue growth across Tier 2 and Tier 3 telecommunications service providers (Internet and Mobile) and expanding market presence across telecommunications infrastructure solutions. This role requires extensive experience in fiber optic and copper network solutions, with a strong emphasis on installation services, fiber to the home deployment, engineering collaboration and supplier management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within telecommunications, broadband, utility and infrastructure sectors, namely targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for new target accounts.
- Drive revenue growth through the sales of fiber optic and copper connectivity solutions.
- Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through quoting, contract negotiation and closing.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility through CRM tool(s).
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure service delivery aligns with sales promises and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with supply chain with key customer insight to support the negotiation of pricing, secure product availability and develop strategic partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to continuously refine go-to-market strategies.
- Drive performance metrics, manage sales pipeline, and report on KPI's and forecasts to executive leadership.
