Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gums and other supporting structures of the teeth

Perform dental surgeries, including dental implant placement and periodontal regenerative procedures

Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications to alleviate pain and prevent infection

Evaluate and monitor the progress of patients' treatment plans

Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Essential Job Functions:

Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to determine the extent of periodontal disease or conditions

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, ensuring optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to track progress and treatment success

Skills:

Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)

A state license to practice dental medicine

Strong knowledge of periodontal disease and treatment methodologies

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
