Network Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and oversee advanced network infrastructures across enterprise environments. This role is responsible for defining network strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and security, and aligning network architecture with business objectives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in enterprise networking, strong leadership skills, and experience designing complex, large-scale network systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise network architecture (LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments) Define network standards, frameworks, and best practices Lead network infrastructure planning, upgrades, and transformations Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of network systems Architect secure network solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust models Evaluate and recommend networking technologies and vendors Oversee network integration across systems and platforms Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and teams Maintain detailed network architecture documentation and diagrams Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field 8-12+ years of experience in networking, with significant architecture experience Expertise in networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, MPLS, etc.) Experience with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.) Strong knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Familiarity with network security frameworks and compliance standards Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills Core Competencies Network Architecture & Design Strategic Planning Network Security & Compliance Performance Optimisation Technical Leadership Problem-Solving & Innovation Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, and virtualization Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC) Experience in large-scale enterprise or global network environments Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Flexible remote or hybrid work options High-impact leadership role in infrastructure strategy Opportunities for professional development and certifications Exposure to cutting-edge networking technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
