Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2+ Years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2+ years of experience in an emergency department - Preferred previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 4:1 Description: Position consists of three 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. Department will make every attempt to keep shifts at the same start time each week. Candidates must possess valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Skills required include management of acute conditions like abdominal pain, drug overdose, and severe respiratory infections. Experience should include handling ventilated patients and administering emergency medications. Candidates must be adept in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. Experience with traumatic injuries, stroke management, and mental/behavioral health conditions is necessary. Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages 16, with a bed capacity of 33. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services and social services. Additional requirements include a 7-year work history verification from candidates. Candidates must be available for immediate lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Work history from the past 7 years must be provided accurately. Must have Epic charting system experience.
