Registered Branch Associate

Responsibilities Deepening relationships with existing clients Gather information and collect suitability information to open new accounts Research portfolio performance, costs/fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction or investments; make recommendations to the Financial Advisor and communicate to the client on the advisor’s behalf when in agreement with the recommendation Execute Financial Advisor–solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals Actively business‑plan and work as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies Continually develop yourself to grow personally and professionally Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 3–5 years of relevant experience in securities or financial services industry preferred Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period FINRA registration required within three months; state insurance licenses also required Training & Development We’ll give you training and the support you need: Training may include mentoring, job shadowing, coaching, and branch office visits A support network that extends beyond your branch office and includes headquarters assistance via phone, email, and firm intranet resources As an associate, you are required to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and/or SEC) Complete required continuing‑education training to keep licenses in good standing Benefits Medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits (accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness) Short‑ and long‑term disability, basic life, AD&D coverage at no cost 401(k) retirement plan; health savings account and flexible spending account options 10 paid holidays and 15 days vacation for new associates beginning January 1 each year, plus sick time, personal days, and a paid volunteerism day Employee Assistance Program EEO Statement Edward Jones does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.
