As a Nurse Practitioner, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, processing diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, working with physicians when required or independently based on your credentials
• Providing education and support to patients and families regarding wellness, prevention strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications in line with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic condition oversight
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting clinical information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
