Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs as directed by supervising Physical Therapists.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities that promote engagement and recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document outcomes to inform necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
• Educate patients regarding proper exercise techniques, recovery strategies, and wellness philosophies to enhance compliance and understanding.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care, regularly discussing patient statuses and treatment approaches.
• Maintain precise and contemporaneous patient records to meet clinical documentation standards and support continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus revolves around patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. In this role, you will be directly engaged with diverse patient demographics, adapting your communication style and treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• At least 2 years of experience working specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation settings.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, allowing for precise communication and effective patient education.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.
• Proven ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Compensation and Benefits
