Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Production Employee - Non Operator and become a vital part of our manufacturing process!

Essential Functions

• Assist the operator in the operation, cleaning and minor maintenance of paper manufacturing and converting equipment
• Perform manual and automated paper catching, tying, stacking and moving. Requires the ability to constantly lift, carry, push and pull 30 pounds
• Must be able to walk and stand for a minimum of 8 hour shift
• Insure compliance with all safety and hazardous materials handling procedures
• Assist the operator as required to accurately complete production and other paperwork. Requires the ability to read and write.
• Perform routine janitorial and deep cleaning

Other Duties

• At all times keep work area clean and organized
• Participate in special projects as required
• Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds

Reporting Relationship

• Reports to the Production Supervisor or Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to learn to perform all essential functions and other duties
• Must be able to understand verbal and written directions and training
• Must be able to continuously lift, carry, push, pull a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum 8-hour shift
• Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in manufacturing
• Prior experience in paper manufacturing

• Be flexible responding to changing customer and production scheduling needs.
• At all times behave in a professional and courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned
