Caregiver Full-Time (Morning Shift)
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53223
Schedule: Monday to Sunday | 9-hour morning shift
Job Type: Full-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a highly experienced and reliable Caregiver to support a client who requires advanced mobility assistance, including use of a Hoyer lift . This role is ideal for a caregiver with strong hands-on experience in safe transfers and personal care.

This position focuses on providing quality care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing and showering
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Prepare simple meals
• Maintain a safe and clean home environment
• Schedule appointments with physicians and laboratory services
• Assist with safe transfers using a Hoyer lift

Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience using a Hoyer lift and providing transfer assistance
• Previous caregiving experience required
• Strong knowledge of safe lifting and mobility support techniques
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
• Able to follow a care plan and work independently
• Strong communication skills
