Warehouse Associate - Order Fulfillment | $19/hr | 1st Shift

Location: West Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $19.00/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Summary:
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a well-established distribution team. This position plays a key role in assembling, verifying, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other locations.
Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
Pick and prepare orders for shipment via UPS or LTL.
Process all shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, labeling, and documentation according to customer instructions.
Verify quantities and descriptions of items against invoices.
Pack orders into containers and organize shipments according to truck routes.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

Steel-toe/work boots required.
Excellent attendance and reliability.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
Basic math and communication skills required.
Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and follow directions.

Preferred:

Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution setting.
Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
