NURSE MANAGER

Nurse Manager - Surgery JDAMH

Description:

Responsible for overall functioning of the surgery department

Maintain safe environment for patients, visitors and staff

Oversee patient care

Liaison with physicians

Perform HR requirements

Develop operational and capital budget for the department and monitor/adjust to meet established goals

Performance Improvement activities


Assume responsibility for professional activities

Experience/Education

Licensed in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse

BS degree in nursing required or plans to enroll in BSN program with completion date of five (5) years

3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in surgery

Prefer 1 year experience as Assistant Nurse Manager
