Role Description This is an on-site, contract Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Aesthetics role based in Los Angeles, CA. The RN will perform aesthetic procedures within scope of practice, such as injectables (e.g., neuromodulators, dermal fillers), IV therapy, and other non-surgical treatments as directed by supervising providers. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, obtaining medical histories, assessing treatment suitability, and educating patients on pre- and post-care instructions. The RN will prepare treatment rooms, maintain sterile technique, manage supplies, and assist with minor in-office procedures as needed. The role also involves documenting care in the medical record, monitoring patient responses, supporting follow-up care, and contributing to a positive, professional clinic environment. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California and current BLS/CPR certification. Demonstrated experience or strong interest in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related clinical area. Solid clinical assessment skills, including obtaining histories, identifying contraindications, and monitoring patient responses to treatments. Strong patient education and communication abilities to explain procedures, risks, benefits, and aftercare in clear, respectful language. Excellent infection control practices, attention to detail, and comfort working with needles, injectables, and cosmetic devices. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other team members while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion. Comfort with electronic health records, basic documentation standards, and maintaining accurate treatment notes. Strong customer service mindset, professional appearance, and commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience. Flexibility to work clinic hours as needed for a contract role; prior experience in an outpatient or office-based setting is preferred.
