Entry-Level Accountant

We are seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include supporting our Accounting department by performing daily tasks to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the department.

The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with bookkeeping, auditing, and basic accounting procedures.

The goal of the Entry-Level Accountant is to maintain our companys financial health and make sure our accounting operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Process A/P vouchers, print checks for vendor payments, scan and file associated paperwork

Account code charges on credit card statements and obtain documentation from employees for all expenditures.

Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Reconcile bank statements
Assist with other accounting projects including weekly/monthly reports and budgets
Qualifications

BS or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Understanding basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
Proficiency in English and in MS Office and Quickbooks
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Title: Entry-Level Accountant
Reporting Structure: The Entry-Level Accountant will report directly to the Controller.
Salary: Salary will be based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Location: Peckville, PA
