Computed Tomography Technologist Full Time

CT Technologist Position

We're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role with an area hospital client in Portsmouth, VA, where you will be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician's scanning instructions, skillfully administering contrast materials, and expertly operating CT scan equipment. The position is scheduled as a 3x12 shift pattern with an expected workweek of 36 hours. The anticipated start timeframe is 08/31/2026. Please note the facility name is not disclosed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT registry eligibility or completion pathway.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• BLS certification required prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred. Experience performing contrast administration and advanced cross-sectional imaging protocols required.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital radiology or trauma center preferred.
• Ability to operate multimodal CT equipment and image post-processing workstations.
• Demonstrated competency in patient assessment, radiation safety, and documentation standards.
• Willingness to work a 3x12 schedule and flexible to occasional shift adjustments as clinical demand requires.
