Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to support our client's patients in Portland, OR, with coverage in the west side of the PDX region. This is an 11-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

Contract type: Local Contract

Location: Portland, OR (Coverage: West side of PDX region)

Duration: 11-week Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Pay rate: $38-41/hr. On W2 (Negotiable - Pay Rate is based on experience)

Schedule: Mon Fri (5 days/wk.) from 8 AM to 4:30 PM (36 hrs. guaranteed)

Mileage: Reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement treatment plans and interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
2. Provide skilled therapy services during routine home health visits.
3. Travel to patient homes within the assigned coverage area.
4. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation/charting in compliance with organizational standards.
5. Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed home exercise programs and safety precautions.
6. Coordinate care with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior Home Health experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with Homecare Home Base (HCHB) preferred.
