• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Certification as a School Nurse (PEL-CSN)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and assessment skills
• Compassionate approach to working with students of diverse backgrounds

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Administer healthcare services, including first aid, medication management, and care for chronic and acute conditions
• Coordinate and document immunization and health compliance in accordance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with school psychologists and educators to support students’ academic, emotional, and physical needs
• Participate in IEP/504 teams and assist with health-related services as required
• Educate students and staff on wellness, preventative care, and health policies
• Act as a liaison between families, medical providers, and school staff
