Registered Nurse (RN)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for one of our clients in Vestal, NY.


Job Description:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform medication passes accurately and safely
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Supervise CNAson assigned units

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities

Requirements:

• Active license (state)
• Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
• Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation
• Strong attendance and punctuality required
• 1 year plus of LTC experience, will accept clinicians with other recent specialty experience. Like rehab, med surg, hospital experience.
• Alzheimer's & Dementia Patient population

License:

• Must have NY State License - NO LICENSE HITS ALLOWED
• MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION***
• RTO Restrictions: RTO ONLY APPROVED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. WILL NOT APPROVE AFTER OFFERED. Cannot take every holiday off
• ANY CALL OUTS MUST BE GIVEN WITH AMPLE NOTICE, MORE THAN 24hrs PRIOR**
• Compliance takes 1.5-2 weeks

Additional Requirements:

• Must be dependable with consistent attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be flexible with scheduling needs
• First-Timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required upon center request
• Certs REQ: BLS
• Locals Accepted: Yes

Requirements:

• DL or SSN are mandatory at the time of submission
• 3 days of orientation will be required.

Work hours:

• RN's - Days (7a-3p /5-8's only 7 RN's
• RN's - Evenings (3-11 /5-8's only 4 RN's
