Self Regional Healthcare Greenwood, SC 29646, USA Description 11:30am-8:00pm, Every other weekend The Patient Transporter provides safe, timely, and courteous transportation of patients and visitors throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed, wagon, or by walking assistance; ensuring patient safety during transport; responding promptly to transport requests through EPIC and telephone communications; documenting transport activities; assisting with patient arrivals in EPIC; and cleaning transport equipment after use. Candidates should possess strong customer service and basic computer skills, be able to assist patients entering and exiting wheelchairs, and safely push or maneuver equipment. A commitment to excellent patient service and efficient response times is essential. Must possess the ability to push up to 500 pounds, high school diploma or equivalent GED.
