Pharmacist - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license in the State of Utah.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy or similar acute care setting preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis and CIISafe required.
• Experience with VigiLanz required.
• Experience managing pharmacy technicians, including working independently with a technician for extended portions of a shift.
• Familiarity with Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, or similar documentation systems preferred.
• BLS or ALS preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months or more of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a wide variety of services such as NICU, ICU, OR, ED, inpatient rehab, behavioral health, and trauma care preferred.
• Experience performing clinical consults (warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin) and drug information services preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100–0700.
• Schedule pattern: 7 on, 7 off (works seven consecutive days then seven consecutive days off).
• Night pharmacist coverage with pharmacy staffed 24 hours and one night staff pharmacist on duty.
• Will work independently with a pharmacy technician for portions of the shift (approximately 5.5 hours).
• Documentation systems in use: Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS; automated dispensing via BD Pyxis; clinical surveillance via VigiLanz.
