Dental Assistant

Park Slope Dental Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing team in New York City. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of dental assisting experience who is reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast- paced dental office. Responsibilities The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting the dentist and clinical team with daily patient care, including: Assisting the dentist during exams, procedures, and treatments Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments Taking and processing dental X-rays Sterilizing instruments and following infection control protocols Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Reviewing patient charts and preparing for scheduled appointments Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment Restocking supplies and keeping operatories ready throughout the day Communicating clearly with the dentist, front desk, and other team members Qualifications 2-3 years of dental assisting experience required Experience working in a dental office is a must Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control standards X-ray experience required Dentrix experience is a plus Strong communication and multitasking skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to work in a busy office environment Bilingual is a plus, but not required Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and hands-on.
