Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document services in compliance with regulations and facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families
- Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
- Current Alabama SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
- Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams
- Passion for helping patients improve communication and swallowing function
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
